AC Interviews Dashboard
AC Interviews is a web platform created by Avenue Code to streamline the technical interview process for their Talent Acquisition team. The platform allows the team to invite Questers and Masters - experienced developers who are experts in specific skills and technologies - to evaluate candidates on those specific skills. The goal of the platform is to provide the team with a detailed report of the candidate's knowledge and abilities, which will help them make informed hiring decisions.

As a UI Designer on the AC Interviews project, my primary responsibility was to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface for the platform. I collaborated closely with the Avenue Code team, including developers and product managers, to understand the requirements and goals of the platform. My process included user research, wireframing, prototyping, and iterating based on feedback.
We conducted interviews with members of the Talent Acquisition team to understand their pain points and needs when it came to the technical interview process. We also reviewed competitor platforms to see what features and design elements worked well and what could be improved.
Based on the research and discussions with the team, I created wireframes for the platform using Figma. I focused on creating a clean and intuitive interface that would make it easy for users to navigate and use the platform.
Prototyping and user testing
I created interactive prototypes of the platform using Figma to test the usability and functionality of the interface. I conducted user testing with members of the Talent Acquisition team to gather feedback and make improvements. This user testing was made using Maze App.
The final design of the AC Interviews platform features a modern and intuitive interface that makes it easy for Talent Acquisition team members to navigate and use. The platform includes features such as a dashboard to track candidate progress, the ability to invite Questers and Masters to evaluate candidates, and detailed reports on candidate skills and knowledge. The design has received positive feedback from the team, and they have reported that it has helped them streamline their technical interview process and make more informed hiring decisions.

Working on the AC Interviews project was a challenging but rewarding experience. As a UI Designer, I was able to use my skills and expertise to create a platform that has a positive impact on the hiring process at Avenue Code. Through collaboration with the team, user research, and iterative design, we were able to create a platform that meets the needs of the Talent Acquisition team and helps them make informed hiring decisions.
